Toy-grade RC cars usually top out around 5–15 mph — fine for young kids. Entry hobby-grade vehicles commonly run in the 20–35 mph range. Performance brushless models frequently hit 40–60 mph, and purpose-built speed machines can exceed 70 mph or more. The gap between a toy and a hobby-grade RC is enormous.
What makes an RC car fast
